Our opportunity for you:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join the Legal & Trust Management team.

Purpose of the role:

Work within an internal legal services regulatory team or group legal to provide in-house legal support to the broader Vistra group of companies ("Group").

Lead and supervise a team to render quality services to the Group in a timely manner

Scope:

Work closely with stakeholders primarily based in Hong Kong and United Kingdom.

Team size is currently 5 headcounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work within an internal legal services regulatory team or group legal to provide in-house legal support to the broader Vistra group of companies ("Group").
• Lead and supervise a team to render quality services to the Group in a timely manner.
• Facilitate and manage implementation and delivery of existing and new projects
• Participate in reviews, negotiation and drafting of agreements and legal documents.
• Maintaining and rationalising legal infrastructure such as online terms and conditions and policies.
• Conduct research and analysis.
• Provide any other legal support and operational support from time to time.

Attributes & Skills:

• At least five (5) years of working experience in the legal field
• Ability to lead and manage team of inhouse lawyers
• Strong technical legal skills
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation and communication skills
• Sound judgement
• Team player
• Independent and self motivated
• Ability to read and write Chinese will be an advantage
• Knowledge of trust law will be an advantage

Relevant Experience

• At least five (5) years of working experience in corporate and/or commercial experience at a law firm, in house or a combination.

Education/Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in law

Computer Skills

• Proficient user of Microsoft Packages including Power point, Excel and Word
