Key Responsibilities

Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of production equipment Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime Ensure accurate calibration, alignment, and optimal performance of all machinery Manage spare parts inventory, stock levels, and procurement activities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues Provide rapid technical support during equipment breakdowns Maintain clear and accurate maintenance logs and repair documentation Analyze equipment performance data to identify improvement opportunities Work closely with production and quality teams to optimize manufacturing processes Implement automation solutions and efficiency upgrades to enhance productivity Supervise, guide, and mentor engineers and technicians Conduct training sessions on equipment operation, troubleshooting techniques, and safety procedures Develop, review, and enforce SOPs for equipment handling and maintenance Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Malaysian safety standards and regulations Promote safe work practices for high-voltage machinery and automated systems Perform risk assessments and implement corrective actions to improve workplace safety

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Manufacturing, or a related field At least 12 years of experience in equipment maintenance and equipment management Strong hands-on experience with manufacturing and production machinery Proven leadership experience supervising and developing technical teams Advanced skills in equipment installation, troubleshooting, and process optimization Strong knowledge of PLC systems, CNC machines, and industrial automation Ability to read, interpret, and work with technical drawings and schematics Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to train, coach, and mentor junior technicians
