Overseeing the redesign, develop comprehensive project plan, refurbishment, and construction projects within the terminals of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
Responsible for managing and executing strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall passenger experience, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
The Senior Manager communicates and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory authorities to drive the successful delivery of terminal infrastructure projects while adhering to budgetary constraints and project timelines.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
Strategic Planning
Develop and implement strategic plans for terminal redesign, refurbishment, and construction projects aligned with the long-term objectives of KLIA and the company.
Project Management
Oversee all aspects of terminal infrastructure projects, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance.
Stakeholder Engagement
Foster collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, maintenance, commercial departments) and external partners (e.g., contractors, consultants, regulatory agencies) to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure that all terminal redesign, refurbishment, and construction activities comply with relevant aviation regulations, safety standards, building codes, and environmental guidelines.
Budget and Cost Control
Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance to identify cost-saving opportunities, mitigate financial risks, and optimize resource utilization.
Quality Assurance
Implement robust quality control processes and procedures to uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship, materials, and construction techniques across all terminal projects.
Change Management
Lead change management initiatives to facilitate seamless transitions during terminal refurbishments, renovations, and expansions while minimizing disruptions to airport operations and passenger services.
Performance Evaluation
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of terminal redesign, refurbishment, and construction projects, and provide regular progress reports to senior management.

Degree with minimum 3 years relevant experience in Management role (Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management), Or
Diploma with minimum 5 years relevant experience in Management role (Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management)
Must achieve and maintain the following performance rating for two (2) consecutive years of at least
Exceptional / A or Outstanding / B; and
Minimum Meet Expectations / C
The employee must not be subjected to disciplinary punishments except for disciplinary counselling, caution, reminder & warning for the past 36 consecutive months immediately preceding the promotion
