You will be responsible to lead and manage the overall project management to ensure timely delivery of construction projects (Green to brown field) while also taking guidance and complying to project policies, standards, and requirements

A recent opening for our MNC client from construction background based in Klang Valley is currently looking for an experienced Senior Manager - Project Management (Data Centre Development). You will be responsible to lead and manage the overall project management to ensure timely delivery of construction projects (Green to brown field) while also taking guidance and complying to project policies, standards, and requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
• Lead a cross-functional team of professionals, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, and ensure effective collaboration and communication
• Provide technical expertise in data centre construction to lead the planning and execution of complex projects, ensuring that all engineering and architectural aspects are in order
• Responsible as primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns
• Review and approve change orders or variations that impact data centre design, equipment specifications, or construction processes,
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment on construction sites.
• Prepare and present project status reports to management, highlighting key performance metrics, milestones achieved, and potential challenges.
• Implement and enforce strict quality control measures to ensure the delivery of data centre projects in compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s Degree/Master\'s in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction data centre projects from conception to completion.
• 10+ years of experience in project management within the data centres or telecommunication centres construction industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle unforeseen challenges.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification will be an added value.
