• Your role will help support Grab Malaysia's advocacy and engagement strategy, shaping policies that positively impact society and grow Southeast Asia's tech ecosystem.
• You will report into the Director, Public Affairs and Policy and be based in Petaling Jaya, working onsite.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will execute Grab Malaysia's public affairs advocacy and engagement strategy.
• You will build policy positions on topics such as transport, deliveries, gig economy, and e-commerce.
• You will establish and maintain strategic stakeholder relationships and partnerships.
• You will advise Grab's leadership on complex public policy and regulatory matters.
• You will lead and manage a high-performing team.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, communications, marketing) to plan and implement projects.
• You will work with product, legal, business, and other teams to evaluate our products and features.
• You will represent Grab at main government meetings and events to achieve strategic goals.

QualificationsWhat Essential Skills You Will Need

• You have 10+ years in public/government affairs, public policy, strategic advisory, or partnership roles in Malaysia, within a multinational or government setting.
• You have a understanding of Malaysia's political system and tech-related policy issues.
• You have experience in team management, strategy development, and project execution.
• You have the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• You have a passion for making a positive impact on the community.
