Position: Senior Manager, Regional Pricing

Job Location: Regional Office, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Department: Regional Pricing / Product Review Asia

The Role: To lead, collaborate and execute to achieve set goals within the product pricing function for designated market, Bangladesh.

Key Responsibilities:

-Actuarial pricing of including Generating premium rates from first principles, Cash value determination, Non-forfeiture modeling, Profit testing, Scenario testing, Stress testing, Risk testing
-Closely working with Finance/ Actuarial teams on pricing assumptions (e.g., mortality, morbidity, expense etc.)
-Technical note preparation
-Product features finalization
-Documentation of product design and development
-Product notebook preparation/ review for the new Admin system
-Pricing results presentation to Management
-Policy contract preparation

Essential Experience, Skills and Competencies:

-Associateship / Fellowship of Society of Actuaries USA or Institute of Actuaries UK or Indian Institute of
-Actuaries or any other recognized actuarial body
-Around 7+ years of actuarial experience and experience in Pricing
-Capable of developing and maintaining strong working relationships with project team members, IT, and
-business resources
-Able to lead a diverse group of people across multiple locations
-Ability to find solutions within agreed timescales
-Excellent ability to communicate in English, (both written and verbal)
-Good business acumen

Advantageous skills and experience:

- Proficiency in spreadsheet modelling
-Experience in Asian markets like Bangladesh and India
