:Software Engineering Senior Manager (Technical Role) is the highest level in the technical career path, and candidates for this position are expected to have exceptional technical expertise, leadership, and a significant impact on the organization.List of responsibilities:1) Deep technical mastery

  • Demonstrate exceptional expertise in multiple programming languages and paradigms.
  • Architect, design, and implement complex software systems with a focus on technical excellence.
  • Provide architectural leadership, making high-level design decisions and guiding technical teams.
  • Define and communicate architectural guidelines and principles.
2) Innovation and Research
  • Make significant contributions to key projects or products, demonstrating a measurable impact.
  • Contribute to the success and growth of the organization through technical leadership.
  • Actively contribute to technology innovation, research, and development efforts.
  • Contribute to patents, publications, or open-source projects.
3) Problem-Solving & Collaboration
  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop innovative solutions to technical problems.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and departments to achieve project goals.

4) Technical & Domain Leadership
  • Lead in technical decision-making and influence the architectural direction of projects.
  • Act as a technical thought leader within the organization.
  • Apply extensive knowledge and experience in the specific domain or industry relevant to the organization.
  • Lead the organization in adopting and applying domain-specific best practices.
5) Continuous Learning & Mentorship
  • Commit to continuous learning and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Share acquired knowledge with the team and the organization.
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, contributing to their professional development.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning within the engineering team.
Qualification and requirements:
  • Recommended qualification in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering or other related Digital Engineering field with minimum 12 years of working experience in software development and delivery.
  • Minimum 6 years of technical management experience with proven track record in leading software engineering teams and delivering digital products at scale.
  • Expert understanding in the following technology domain (combination): infrastructure, data centers, network, security, disaster recovery, system integration, cloud and monitoring.
  • Minimum of 10 years of practical experience in web/mobile development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design)
  • Minimum of 10 years of practical experience in any of the programming stacks (.Net/C#/WebAPI, Angular; Node.js/React.js/Javascript, resp. Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective C)
  • Minimum of 10 years of practical experience in designing databases (e.g. MS SQL, MySQL, Postgresql, resp. SQLLite, Couchbase, Realm), including TSQL
  • Minimum of 10 years of practical experience in designing and developing middleware services (API) and ETL processing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in agile development (e,g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and Security framework & governance such as OWASP, SonarCloud, Fortify.
  • Min of 5 years of experience Experience with Cloud development and architecture (utilizing MS Azure or Amazon Web Services).
