Get to Know the Role
As a Senior Manager of Strategy, Min-App Business, you will lead the launch and scaling of our mini-app business from the ground up. This is a unique 0-1 opportunity to build a new business within Grab, leveraging our extensive user base, robust platform, and strong market presence. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Product Strategy & Product Operations.
This role is based onsite in Petaling Jaya office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Strategy Development: You will define and execute the overall strategy for Grab's mini-app business, including market entry, competitive positioning, business model, and growth levers.
• Business Launch & Incubation: You will lead the end-to-end launch of the mini-app platform, including product conceptualization, platform development, partner acquisition, and go-to-market strategies.
• Ecosystem Building: You will identify, onboard, and manage strategic mini-app partners, fostering a vibrant ecosystem of diverse applications.
• Revenue Generation: You will develop and implement monetization strategies to drive transaction value and revenue growth for the mini-app business.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: You will work closely with product, engineering, business development, marketing, and legal teams to ensure seamless integration and successful execution.
• Market Analysis & Insights: You willl monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and user behavior to identify new opportunities and optimize the mini-app offering.
• Team Leadership: You will potentially build and lead a small, dedicated team as the business scales.

Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in strategy, business development, or product leadership roles, with experience launching and scaling new businesses or products, ideally in the digital platform or app ecosystem.
• Entrepreneurial experience or demonstrated ability to thrive in a 0-1 environment, taking initiatives from conception to successful execution.
• Experience with mini-apps, superapps, and the broader digital ecosystem, particularly in China (WeChat, Alipay) or Southeast Asia.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
• Experience with platform partnerships and ecosystem development is a plus.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
