As a leader in Global Operations Supply Chain Network Planning Team, you will be responsible for influencing commodity supply chain planning with the goal of improving Lam\'s responsiveness to customer demands via a joint business planning process.
This position reports to the Director, Network Planning while supporting stakeholders from cross-functional teams in Supply Chain, Sales Operations, Manufacturing, and Order Fulfilment.
The successful candidate will manage a team of up to 16 planners that drives business infrastructure tools (for example \'SAP IBP\' or \'KINAXIS RAPID RESPONSE\'), short and long-term planning processes (for example - ICP/Build Plan), and service level agreements between Manufacturing, Sales Operations, Supply Chain & Order Fulfillment as our business becomes more complex.
Executive reporting of global availability and supply/demand risk while presenting a plan of record for the support of global product output across six global factories.
Develops and aligns service levels by supply commodity (output magnitude and flexibility up/down) to ensure constraints and growth objectives are identified and executed.
Does this by working with other Supply Chain Network Planners and cross-functional partners in Manufacturing (factory capacity), Global operations Strategic Planning, and Supply Chain (critical commodity capacity).
Manages supply/demand plan by identifying forecast opportunities, gaps, or risks then seeking approval to mitigate by either driving increases to supply or increasing the demand signal. (e.g. load demand signals via floats, System Pull ins, and independent demand.
Monitor and drive improvement toward supply chain focused KPIs that manage delivery risk, supplier performance, cost, and planning effectiveness.
Delivery of monthly/quarterly commodity reviews to senior leadership.
Own ongoing continuous improvement initiatives focused on the operational transformation of the planner and other various supply chain roles.
Be a thought leader and change champion for a rapidly growing supply chain organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, or related degree.
15 years of related work experience with 5 years of experience in managing direct reports.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Executive messaging and ability to work cross-functionally and drive decision-making in a matrixed organization.
Semiconductor equipment knowledge, or other technology-focused manufacturing knowledge, and continuous learning to effectively consider how technical roadmaps of the business unit (product lifecycle) and economic trends can affect our supply chain demand streams.
Experience with Supply Chain procurement and capacity assessment processes - an understanding of medium and long-term planning, assessment, and methodology is critical.
Experience using Kinaxis or other advanced planning tools (i.e. SAP IBP, Blue Yonder) is highly preferred.
