Job Description


Primary HR contact to Supply Chain department; providing HR support and services to meet business and operational needs. Promote and maintain industrial harmony and administration of all matters relating to employee and industrial relations. Responsibilities: ER/IR Foster a cordial relationship by creating a safe and healthy working environment at the workplace, implementing fair and just labor practices, in full compliance with the relevant legislation and handling grievances expeditiously and professionally with a view to settling them at the lowest level possible. Responsible in all activities and processes required for the effective management of good employee relations and Industrial Relations. Prepares working papers/letters on related IR cases for Disciplinary Committee. Plans and executes end-to-end disciplinary process for Supply Chain. Handle grievances raised by employees, employees\' council and union as well as escalate and resolve it. Consults and delivers advice to HR Business Partners and line management on disciplinary and misconduct matters. Represents management in collective agreement negotiations and other industrial relations issues. Update IR database, keep accurate records and report IR case log monthly to top management. Performance Management Custodian of the performance management process for Supply Chain and drives performance based culture through improved performance management processes. Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for performance improvement by conducting research, diagnosis and process reviews. Support performance improvement initiatives through implementation of competency frameworks and 360 feedback processes. Manage and coordinate the performance appraisal/review process. Talent Management Drive the talent management and succession planning processes for Supply Chain. Lead and coordinate the talent review and succession planning process. Develop and maintain a comprehensive employee skills and knowledge database. Co-represent Supply Chain employees at company-level talent review meetings together with the Supply Chain Director. Coordinate the talent mobility and secondments as and when needed. Oversee and coordinate talent movement and secondments. Organisational Development (OD) Provide advisory and support in change management, organisational effectiveness and performance issues and works in partnership with HR business partners and stakeholders to orchestrate cultural development and change initiatives that address Company\'s strategies and goals. Provide support in designing new structures and processes to meet the needs of Supply Chain and drive employee satisfaction. Conduct research, analysis & assessments and provide recommendations to ensure OD initiatives are integrated and aligned with strategic and business goals. Collaborate with Total Rewards on job evaluation and grading exercises. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to develop and maintain up-to-date job descriptions. Drive employee engagement survey and activities leading to a highly engaged and motivated organization. Others Accountable for annual budgeting of areas under direct supervision. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures. Any other responsibilities assigned by the line manager. Requirements: Bachelor\'s Degree/ Professional Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent, minimum 8 years working experience in similar capacity, preferably with experience in multiple HR functions and/or a generalist role. Enjoys working in a fast-paced working environment. Able to manage operational processes and be a strategic HR partner to the business. Business advisory-centric with demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels in the organization. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Strong understanding of the Company\'s goals and the ability to integrate interventions and programmes in line with strategic business priorities. Demonstrates up-to-date knowledge of trends and best practices in organisational development and learning & development. Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills, strong communication and presentation skills. Able to conduct diagnosis, analyse findings, recommend options and build commitment. Proactive and independent, a self-starter.
