The Senior Manager/Manager Humana Resources is to lead, guide and manage the overall HR function, in the provision of Human Resources services, policies and programs. To lead the HR team and manage day-to-day HR operations and system administration. The Human Resources functions includes: Recruitment and Selection Lead the end-to-end recruitment cycle, with the right sourcing strategies to attract the right fit talent. Performance Appraisal Establish and maintain performance management policies and procedures. Employee Orientation, development and training Conduct employee orientation for all new joiners. Conduct training needs analysis and work closely with the business to identify relevant training programs. Policy development and documentation in compliance with ISO standards Ensure that all policies, processes and documentation are fit for purpose and are maintained in line with requirements. Compensation and benefits administration Ensure that the payroll process is carried out in a timely and accurate manner. Propose and manage the HR budgets in accordance to business needs and outlook. Review, develop, implement and monitor compensation and benefits programs and packages. Employee counselling and industrial relations Handle and deal with employee disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner (includes counselling, grievances handling, poor performance, misconduct, domestic inquiry, etc). Employment and compliance to regulatory acts, e.g. Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, Sabah & Sarawak Labour Ordinance Ensure adherence and compliance to all rules and regulations. Provide advisory to senior management team and other business or functional heads in relation to human resources practices. Coach and develop the HR team members. Oversee HR operations for all Wasco Agrotech branches and Indonesia office. Additional job as assigned by the superior or management as and when deemed necessary. Requirements: Tertiary Educated in HR or possess relevant professional certification Progressively senior experience of at least 8 years in energy, manufacturing or construction sector preferred. Sound working knowledge of Malaysian legislations and HR practices. Good to have working knowledge of Indonesia employment regulations and HR practices. Demonstrated experience with leading a team Strong operations focus Ability to communicate clearly and credibly across the multiple locations we operate in. Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing Highly collaborative with exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Self-driven/entrepreneurial and resourceful with a roll-up-your sleeves attitude towards getting things done.
