We are looking for someone with:

University degree in any field

Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Preferably a minimum of 3-4 years of exposure in Operational Risk/First Line Defense from Financial Institution

Good understanding and knowledge of internal control environment/ risk management.

Good documentation skills, analytical skills, business acumen and proficient in MS Office applications

On the job you will:

Integral role as First Line of Defense to the entire Agency Division and Business Partners and act as advisor for all operational/enterprise risk and audit matters.

Develop risk profiling e.g Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Fraud Risk Self-Assessment (FRSA), Control Attestations/Key Control Testing Plans for the entire Division.

Lead/Perform Process Key Control Testing (PKCT) and Generic Key Control Testing (GKCT) to identify effectiveness of controls or gaps in each process and departmental Service Operating Procedures.

Advise/Propose the suitable correct action plans to Process Owners and review/monitor the closure of the actions required and documented accordingly in the Departmental SOPs

Work closely with HODs and various departments in Agency Division and other stakeholders e.g Finance, Operations, Actuary and Regional team to perform root cause analysis and discuss mitigation plans/preventive measures pertaining to the Key Risk Indicators reported in Distribution Quality Operating Model (DQOM)

Develop PBI Dashboards for various Key Risk Indicators to supplement the trend analysis.

Champion the Regulatory Review i.e Customer Fact Find (CFF) for MIB and Mystery Shopping Exercise for MY

Draft Internal/External audit responses for Chief Agency Officer and other Head of Departments

Perform gap analysis for Exposure Draft/Regulatory Guidelines on behalf of Agency Division and work closely with the respective process owners to address the gaps/action plans (if any)

Perform periodic review on mis- conduct, fraud Red Flag generated by various automation Tool (DCCD/Sherlock) to identify potential mis- conduct/fraud that are possibly committed by agency forces

Drive the risk culture for the division by implementing various initiative such as training, coaching, newsletters
