Job Details

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead molding development projects from conceptual stage into mass production.
• Communicate and manage projects including but not limited to design, engineering and analyze product, problem, processes, test and setup.
• Achieve cost savings by implementing cost reduction projects including molds transfer, new vendors, multi cavity molds, hot runners conversion and parts consolidation.
• Integrate and align efforts from different sources by directing, supervising and managing project team members or contractors as required for successful project completion.
• Prepare documentation by writing and redacting scope of work, business case, mold specifications, request for quotation, validation protocol and reports.
• Provide, measure and monitor mold program progress by using statistical tools and reports.
• Research, investigate, test and develop product transfer technology including manufacturing and testing equipment and provide hands-on troubleshooting.

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Mechanical/Plastic/Molding Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 4 year(s) of working experience in manufacturing environment.
• Experience in product validation process in medical devices or pharmaceutical industrial will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Six Sigma or LEAN Manufacturing
