Map Ta Phut, Thailand- This position requires the candidate to be based in Thailand, and we are seeking someone who is willing to relocate for the role.

Salary Range:

SGD 80K-100K base per annum (excluding bonus)

About the Role

We are seeking a

technically strong, hands-on Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

with proven expertise in heavy industrial equipment and machinery design. In this role, you will lead the design of complex systems, collaborate with global teams, and ensure compliance with international standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who thrives in a challenging and multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design of heavy industrial machinery, including hydraulics, bearings, gearboxes, and transmissions. Conduct material selection, design in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and validate using FEA tools. Apply ISO, DIN, and ASME standards across all engineering deliverables. Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to support production and assembly. Participate in erection and commissioning activities on-site. Work on capital projects with exposure to international, cross-functional teams.
Must-Have Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline). Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical design/manufacturing (preferably in heavy industry). Strong expertise in: Machine design Hydraulic systems Bearings Gearboxes & transmissions Material selection Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and FEA tools. Strong knowledge of international design standards (ISO, DIN, ASME, etc.). Excellent communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Cold Rolling Mills, Strip Processing, or Furnaces. Field experience in erection & commissioning. Prior exposure to global projects and multicultural work environments.
