Job Scope: Senior Mechanical Engineer (Consultant)

1. Mechanical System Design & Development

Lead the design and development of mechanical systems such as pumping,SCADA HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other building services for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. Prepare detailed engineering calculations, technical drawings, and specifications in compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, MS, ISO).

2. Project Coordination & Management

Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and other consultants to ensure integrated and clash-free design. Manage project schedules and deliverables related to mechanical engineering scope. Provide technical advice and solutions to clients throughout the design and construction phases.

3. Document Review & Approval

Review and approve technical drawings, design submissions, and shop drawings prepared by junior engineers or contractors. Conduct technical evaluations and provide feedback on design modifications or proposals. Prepare technical reports and documentation for client submissions and regulatory approvals.

4. Site Supervision & Technical Support

Conduct site visits to monitor mechanical system installation and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Provide technical support to resolve on-site issues and coordinate with contractors and project managers. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices on site.

5. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

Oversee testing and commissioning of mechanical systems to verify performance and functionality. Prepare and review commissioning reports, as-built documentation, and operation manuals. Support clients during system handover and address post-installation concerns.

6. Leadership & Mentorship

Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff. Lead coordination meetings, technical discussions, and client presentations. Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and processes within the consultancy.
