We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Mechanical Engineer & Senior Mechanical Engineer
to join our team. This role suits an engineer with a background in mechanical building services design and a strong interest in advancing towards
project management
. The ideal candidate is eager to gain expertise in high-rise projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Involved in mechanical design of building services systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and related mechanical systems).
Design and develop mechanical systems for buildings, ensuring compliance with local and international codes and sustainability practices.
Prepare load calculations, equipment sizing, system layouts, technical specifications and detailed drawings.
Use design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP and Carrier tools for system modeling and coordination.
Prepare documentation for tendering, cost estimation and procurement support.
Conduct site visits for inspections, testing, commissioning support and contractor liaison.
Participate in project planning, coordination meetings and support the project manager in managing timelines, deliverables and budgets.
Gain exposure to mechanical systems used in industrial and factory settings, including process HVAC, compressed air systems and heavy-duty ventilation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
5-8 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design for MEP building services.
Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, Revit or similar tools.
Strong technical skills in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design.
Proactive attitude with a desire to learn project management and coordination.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
