We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in engine optimization to join our team at Petronas University. This role involves the exciting challenge of merging our innovative Zero-X reactor with a Diesel Engine equipped with heat recovery systems.Job OverviewAs a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the development and integration of cutting-edge technologies in engine optimization. Your primary focus will be on combining the Zero-X reactor with a Diesel Engine to enhance efficiency and sustainability. This role requires hands-on expertise, the ability to troubleshoot and fix mechanical issues, and a deep understanding of dual-fuel engine systems. The position includes opportunities for international travel, with initial testing at our state-of-the-art campus in Bali and collaboration with our lab in Germany.Key ResponsibilitiesEngine Optimization:

• Lead the integration of the Zero-X reactor with Diesel Engines.
• Optimize engine performance and efficiency, incorporating heat recovery systems.
• Conduct performance testing and validation of the integrated systems.

Hands-On Engineering:

• Utilize hands-on skills to assemble, modify, and troubleshoot engine components.
• Implement practical solutions to enhance engine performance and reliability.

International Collaboration:

• Travel to Europe for collaboration with our lab in Germany.
• Participate in initial testing and development at our campus in Bali.
• Work with international teams to share knowledge and drive innovation.

Technical Expertise:

• Apply deep technical knowledge of dual-fuel engine systems.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in engine technology and heat recovery.

Project Management:

• Manage project timelines and ensure successful delivery of milestones.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in engine optimization, preferably with dual-fuel engines.
• Proven hands-on talent and ability to fix and troubleshoot mechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of heat recovery systems and engine integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel internationally for project assignments.
