Job Description
The Senior MEP Coordinator is responsible for leading the development, coordination, and management of Building Information Modelling (BIM) for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across projects. This dual role combines advanced 3D modelling expertise with coordination responsibilities, ensuring design accuracy, clash-free integration, and compliance with BIM standards. The position serves as a key link between the BIM team, engineers, consultants, and site personnel.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in
Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
or related field.8+ years of experience
in BIM modelling, with at least5-7 years in a coordination role
(MEP discipline). Strong proficiency inRevit MEP
,AutoCAD MEP
,Navisworks
, and familiarity with BIM collaboration platforms (e.g., BIM 360, ACC, or similar). Solid understanding of MEP systems, construction drawings, and interdisciplinary coordination. Knowledge of BIM standards such asISO 19650, PAS 1192, or client-specific BIM protocols
. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with consultants, contractors, and internal teams. Demonstrated leadership, discipline, and professionalism in guiding a BIM team.Key Competencies
