1. POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Merchandiser/Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that products appear in the store at the appropriate time as planned by principal as well as merchandising team and in correct quantities. This involves working closely with all merchandising team as well as other department to accurately forecast sales trends, plan stock levels and monitor market trends.

Senior Merchandiser also play a key role within organizations, for maximizing profitability. You are responsible to update and keep track on article movement, analysis sell thru and propose next action plan, act according to the OTB plan, oversee delivery and distribution of stock and deal with principal and communicating with operation for feedback. You are not only required to be hands-on with all matters involving merchandising planning, stock allocations & distribution, coordinate with Store operations team and Visual Display team on seasonal launches.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Able to conceptualize the product categories ranges by seasonally or annually. To provide assistance (leadership) for staff development that will enable the achievement of the brand merchandising strategies & expansion plans and objectives. Keep track the overall merchandise mix and sell through. To have a strong knowledge of the brand of the past, present and future especially when dealing with principal and store manager. Analysing every aspect of bestsellers and worst sellers, including categories, size, colour and ensure that bestsellers reach their full potential by placing repeat order in time as well as similar offering in next buying. Analysing every aspect of ESS sales compared (Like for Like) against last year or previous sales in term categories, discount structure and quantities sold. Present season collection & trends to the store managers before going for each buy. To go through with superiors before submitting orders to principal, discount structure all orders with cost/retail has to be approved by superior. Understand competition strategies, pricing, promotions etc Provide seasonal product training to the operations team Manage principal relationships

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
