Why This Role?
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Risk System Analyst with expertise in Murex Limits Controller (MLC) to support and enhance risk management systems. This is a full-time onsite role at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role involves managing credit risk solutions, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and optimizing performance within a SQL Server 2012 environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and functional support for Murex Limits Controller (MLC) and Credit Risk solutions.
• Analyze and optimize risk systems to improve performance and compliance.
• Manage and maintain SQL Server 2012 databases to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with risk, IT, and business teams to implement system enhancements.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and deploy fixes.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and risk reporting requirements.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
1. Must-to-Have:

• Experience: More than 9 years of experience working with the Murex application, with more than 6 years of experience in Murex MLC module along with strong knowledge of Murex Credit Risk Module.

• Experience with MLC Reporting, checking the exposure in Limits, monitor screen & troubleshooting.

• Understanding of MV, CS table and MLC Reset. Configure various dimensions in static data screen.

• SQL: Proficiency in SQL Server 2012 and UNIX.

• Well familiar with Limit preview, Engine Pattern, Engine Instance & Limit management.

2. Good-to-have:

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and troubleshoot issues efficiently.

• Knowledge of additional risk management software and platforms.

• Familiarity with other database systems such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.

• Experience in quantitative finance or financial modeling.
