The responsibilities include automating network processes, collaborating with teams, developing and testing code, monitoring and troubleshooting network issues, integrating automation solutions, documenting processes, and staying updated with relevant technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with network engineering and operations teams to understand their requirements and identify areas for automation in both public and private cloud environments.
• Review requirements and work with relevant teams to ensure agreement on software development objectives.
• Develop and test code to validate functionality and ensure alignment with requirements.
• Participate in project retrospectives to contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development life cycle.
• Monitor network automation processes, ensuring their proper functioning, and making necessary improvements as needed.
• Troubleshoot network issues promptly, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Work collaboratively with other teams to integrate network automation solutions with existing systems and applications.
• Document network automation processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends relevant to network automation.

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, Python, Bash scripting, Java, and Perl.
• Knowledge and experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge and experience working with JSON.
• Comfort and proficiency in a Linux environment, including troubleshooting using the Linux command line.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Knowledge and application of object-oriented design principles.
• Experience in building cloud-native or hybrid applications.
• Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience in creating Ansible playbooks, using roles, and managing Ansible inventories.
• Experience in managing and utilizing Ansible Automation Platform (formerly Ansible Tower).
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
