Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall network management and operational support for network infrastructure, including, managing critical issues to resolution.
- Provide Level 3 response, analysis and resolution planning for managing issues and providing appropriate solutions.
- Perform analysis of network needs and contribute to design of network architecture, integration and installation.
- Establish stable, secure and maintainable IT network infrastructure through the implementation of industry best practices to achieve efficient system management.
- Conduct regular network performance tests.
- Ensure all network equipment are updated with latest applicable firmware releases.
- Evaluate new technologies for infrastructure improvement and hardware refreshment.
- Minimum a Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Information Technology/Networking/Computer Studies or any related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of related experience.
- Must possess minimum CCNP certification.
- Possess hands-on experience in system installation, configuration and maintenance of Cisco, Fortinet and Juniper internetworking-related products like firewalls, routers, access points and switches.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking; LAN, WAN, WLAN implementation and management.
- Good understanding on internetworking technologies like VLAN, STP and routing protocols like IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF and BGP.
- Good understanding of network security concepts and best practices.
- Experience in use of tools and writing scripts to automate build, monitor and troubleshoot services is required/an added advantage.
- Understanding of ITIL concepts is an added advantage.
- Self-starters, able to work independently, display initiative and keen to take responsibility.
- Adaptable and flexible to changing environment and needs.
- Able to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities and deadlines.
- Able to communicate and set the right solution expectation to customer and also internal cross functional teams.
