Overview
The Global Customer Network Engineering team is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses and experience in implementing network projects.

• Supports network project implementation, security, and support of large multi-site, multi-vendor MPLS network communication environments.
• Works in a global environment and collaborates with teams around the world for network implementation.
• Collaborates with customers from diverse cultures.

Role

• Manages and implements network projects.
• Develops detailed requirements for upgrading existing corporate and MasterCard networks, as well as re-architecting network segments to accommodate new requirements, technologies, and growth.
• Resolves network communications and operation problems during project implementation.
• Participates in telecommunications-related initiatives.
• Supports assigned regional projects, including planning, time and cost control, resource utilization, and implementation.

All About You
Knowledge/Experience:

• Proficient in overall IT experience in the following areas:
• Networking, including LAN/WAN, Firewalls, wireless, and Security technologies.
• Experience with TCP/IP protocol communications.
• Thorough knowledge of Cisco\xe2\x80\x99s product portfolio.
• Thorough knowledge of Project Management methodology and best practices.

Skills/Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with demonstrated listening skills and the ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Experienced with SDWAN, BGP, SNMP, VPN, SSH, MPLS technologies.
• General supervision; work may be reviewed after action is taken.

Work Conditions:

• Supports a 24/7 Global Network; out-of-hours work required.
