Open position: Senior Network Engineer, Network Architecture Designing (Fintech Company)
A well-established Fintech Company is hiring for Senior Network Engineer to join the team and be based in the Kuala Lumpur office. You will be responsible to lead the overall planning, design to implementation of the network projects used by thousands of users.
Key responsibilities include:
- Good understanding of business requirements and translating into a network design and architecture used in datacentre, cloud and virtualisation environment
- Extensive knowledge and experience with all aspects of edge networks, WAN and VLAN architectures, including protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DMVPN, and strategies covering capacity planning, routing policies, firewall and VPN configuration
- Identify, evaluate, and drive new initiatives through an expert-level comprehension of network design, routing, switching, and the protocols used in the network stack to deliver intelligence and resiliency
- Good experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies and lead the effort to transform the way we do operations by promoting DevOps and Automation practices into daily activities
- Strong experience in CISCO configuration with good understanding of IT infrastructures such as Cloud, Server, Storage, Security and etc
- Having technical certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CCNP and CCIE would be added advantage
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a fast-paced team environment
