JOB DESCRIPTIONSJob TitleSenior Network Engineer - Network Operations CenterDivision/DepartmentNetwork Operations CenterReports ToNetwork Operations Center (NOC) ManagerJOB SUMMARYThe Senior NOC engineer will be a part of team which main task are as follows;Proactively monitor, log and resolve customer circuit issues and network Incidents 24x7.Analyze the incidents/complaints reported and initiate service improvements for chronic cases raised by the system and the customers.Duties and Responsibilities1. He or she will be working on a 12 hour shift.2. Create Trouble Tickets for any customer and network incidents.3. Proactively monitor network (Optical, Ethernet and IP services) platform and Customer Monitoring thru Network Management Systems.4. Provide Technical support to customer complaints and inquiries.5. Coordinate with various teams to ensure the fault is restored in time.6. Will be the 1st level of escalation for customer and network related incidents.7. Review, approve and arrange planned maintenance activities to the customers and partners.8. Provides support to NOC Manager, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.9. Monitor network performance and produce reports for key stakeholder10. To provide training to upskill Network Operations TeamRequirement\xc2\xb7 Degree in Electronics and Communications / Computer Science/Technology/Information Technology/Engineering with major in Networking/Telecommunications/Other related field\xc2\xb7 Candidate with CCNA/CCNP/CCIE is a plus but not required.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of internet infrastructure technologies.\xc2\xb7 Experience with all aspects of networking including IP, TCP, VPNs, Routers, Switches, and Firewalls.\xc2\xb7 Good in written and oral communication skills.\xc2\xb7 Understanding of ISP and Telco business models and Industry, nationally or globally\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of network management platforms including but not limited to: BTI Systems, Nagios, Cacti, SolarWinds, etc.\xc2\xb7 Broad and in-depth knowledge of internet infrastructure technologies.\xc2\xb7 Excellent written and oral communication skills.\xc2\xb7 Strong interpersonal skills and proven leadership skills including ability to communicate appropriate detail to all levels of management.\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical skills, proven functional and technical analysis skills, professional client interaction.\xc2\xb7 Strong follow-through and initiative to stay with issues until they are resolved, along with discipline and tenacity to meet deadlines.\xc2\xb7 Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced with aggressive deadlines.\xc2\xb7 Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.\xc2\xb7 Ability to work extended hours as required.Experience\xc2\xb7 4 to 6 yearsProposed Salary\xc2\xb7 4000 RM to 6000 RMJob Type: Full-timeSalary: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per monthBenefits:
