REQUIREMENTS: Education/Skills - University Graduate or equivalent \xe2\x80\x93 Nutritional Science, Food Science with Nutrition, Dietetics, Medicine or equivalent - Minimum 5 years experiences in related field is required for this position - Excellent public speaking/presentation skills with the ability to hold and develop interest of audience. - Comfortable to speak in front of a crowd. - Good in oral and written English, Chinese and Malay with good translation skills and ability to proof read translated literature effectively. - Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision. - Ability to organize workload independently for effective implementation. Must be a hands-on person and willing to roll up her/his sleeves to get the job accomplished. - Good interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate with all levels - build relationships and gain enthusiastic cooperation from internal and external stakeholders. - Self-motivated and good time management - Ability to work flexibly so that company\xe2\x80\x99s deadlines are met. - Computer literate in MS programs eg. Word, Excel, Powerpoint and email and internet. DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES to include but NOT limited to: \xc2\xb7 Articulates both short and long-term goals of department. \xc2\xb7 Oversee daily operation of department, project/ task and develop time-integrated plans. Ensuring tasks and objectives are being met. \xc2\xb7 Proofread the published materials, ensuring information are factual and supported by evidenced based research \xc2\xb7 Provide oversight and direction to the department in accordance to company vision, and goals. \xc2\xb7 Specifying the desired outcome, empower the team to decide what tasks are to be delegated, establish controls, identify limits to the work and provide sufficient support to the team. \xc2\xb7 Convey the necessary information among departments. \xc2\xb7 Oversees the development of new products and present products strategies and objectives. \xc2\xb7 Monitor competitive and global trends to uncover new opportunity/ risks. \xc2\xb7 Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production. \xc2\xb7 Liaise and align with local and overseas manufactures. \xc2\xb7 Maintain effective working relationship with governmental agencies, testing organisations and industry associations. \xc2\xb7 Product registration, License Application. \xc2\xb7 Work with HOD to formulate products that adhere to the guidelines set forth by various regulatory bodies, including National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) and Food Safety and Quality Division (FSQD). \xc2\xb7 Liaise and align with manufacturer to establish new product R&D timelines. \xc2\xb7 Design scientifically substantiate product label claims based on peer-reviewed literature or regulation. \xc2\xb7 Assist in custom clearance. \xc2\xb7 Freight insurance arrangement. \xc2\xb7 Work closely with the marketing team to generate innovative product concepts with strong positioning advantages against competitors. \xc2\xb7 Generate fresh and innovative ideas to create a presentation with effective structure which are engaging and persuasive. \xc2\xb7 Conduct regular health talks, product trainings, seminars and roadshows at all branches nationwide. \xc2\xb7 Provide nutritional consultation, understand user requirement and product recommendations to all distributors and consumers. \xc2\xb7 Prepare weekly progress report. \xc2\xb7 Any other duties assigned by the management.
