Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS



Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (recognized by MQA and registered with MAHPC). Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Occupational Therapy; prior experience managing staff and clinic operations is an advantage. Strong in communication, clinical reporting, operations, and basic marketing strategies. Tech-savvy (Google Workspace, OnPay, Oodlins). Mature, meticulous, disciplined, and results-oriented. Able to work independently with minimal supervision and lead a small team effectively.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES



1. Clinical Management



Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and occupational therapy interventions for children with special needs. Monitor clients' progress and update SOAP notes as well as monthly official reports. Ensure treatment quality and adherence to NurichOTR clinical SOPs. Maintain professional standards in documentation, reporting, and communication across all OT staff.

2. Staff & OT Unit Operations Management



Supervise therapy schedules, staff assignments, and efficient use of therapy rooms. Evaluate the performance of junior OTs, therapy assistants, and interns. Conduct regular in-house training sessions and provide staff mentoring. Assist the director in quality audits, KPI monitoring, and monthly performance reporting for the OT unit. Prepare operational performance reports (session numbers, client count, attendance, and arising issues).

3. OT Unit Sales & Marketing



Plan and implement marketing strategies to increase new client acquisition and retention rates. Participate in promotional campaigns, open days, community workshops, and collaborations with schools or childcare centres. Develop clinical marketing materials such as testimonials, videos, brochures, and professional content. Achieve monthly financial KPIs, including total sessions, sales targets, and client renewal rates of ?80%. Play an active role in offering therapy packages, special programs, and income-generating classes.

4. OT Unit Financial Management



Monitor daily and weekly revenue collections and verify record accuracy in systems (Oodlins / OnPay). Manage the usage of therapy materials and ensure the unit's budget is spent prudently. Prepare concise monthly reports on revenue, expenses, and recommendations to improve profit margins. Collaborate with the accountant and admin team to review invoices, receipts, and petty cash related to the OT unit.

5.Research, Training & Continuous Improvement



Participate in CPD training, seminars, and professional workshops. Contribute ideas for new module development and innovation of therapy tools. Manage service quality records and periodic evaluations.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
