We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Operation Manager - FA based in our Tricor Shared Services, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting to the Practice Lead, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Financial Accounting department and its\' growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Day to day delivery of client servicing on behalf of business units.
  • Capacity and demand management of monthly/annual workloads.
  • Work assignment and monitoring to direct staff.
  • Create a productive and engaging work environment.
  • Measure and report KPIs to business unit and country leadership.
  • Ensure TATs are met on client servicing.
  • Timely escalation of issues to SSC/BU leadership, or clients as appropriate
  • Assist to build and improve the SSC Operating Model.
  • Implement process improvement opportunities either in process change or automation (from identification, testing and production release).
  • Ensure the SSC profitability.
  • Ensure client servicing is conducted in accordance with the appropriate governance and/or regulatory controls.
  • Onboard new clients from business units.
  • Report to business units on performance and attainment.
  • Manage the training and personal improvement of direct resources.
  • Raise awareness and promote the SSC.
  • Annual budgeting/planning.
  • Facilitate training/upskilling.
  • Providing effective leadership, supervision and guidance to staff.
  • Guiding, training and developing staff in attaining professional competence.
  • Effective utilization of staff resources.
P&L Responsibilities:
  • Providing effective leadership, supervision and guidance to staff.

People Management:
  • Effective reporting and consultation with Practice Lead.
  • Coordination & Communication with Other Divisions.
Clients Relationship:
  • Achieve Set Budgets within the group.
  • Business Development - assist the Practice Lead in identifying added work scope and possible increase in fees for existing clients.
  • Managing Client Relationships - maintaining good rapport with clients.
  • Ability to achieve Client Satisfaction & Retention
  • Assisting in Cross Sell other Tricor Services
  • Actively seeks clients\' feedback on job performance and communicating feedback to staff and superior.
Key requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Must have supervisory experience and able to manage a team of at least 2 staff.
  • Must be able to manage a client portfolio of RM0.5m.
  • Must be able to plan/manage, implement all aspects of the Group\'s internal policies.
  • Familiar on accounting software is an advantage such as UBS, ACCPAC and SAP software and computer skills is essential.
  • Possess good communication, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English.
  • Able to work independently and multi-task as well as a good team player.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work as a team.
  • Good sense of urgency and able to work under pressure.
  • Time management skill and good judgement in prioritizing deliverables.
