Creating and enforcing operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistent performance and best practices across the organization.
Team Leadership & People Management
Supervising and Motivating Teams:
Leading, managing, and inspiring operations managers and staff to achieve operational excellence and high engagement.
Talent Management:
Overseeing staffing needs, participating in the hiring and onboarding processes, and providing ongoing training, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
Performance Evaluation:
Setting performance goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), evaluating employee performance, and providing constructive feedback.
Financial & Resource Management
Budget Oversight:
Developing, managing, and monitoring departmental budgets and financial plans, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring all activities remain within budgetary guidelines.
Resource Allocation:
Managing the efficient use and allocation of resources, including staff, equipment, and materials, to meet business objectives.
Supply Chain & Inventory Management:
Overseeing logistics, inventory levels, vendor relationships, and distribution processes to ensure seamless operations from supplier to customer.
Compliance & Stakeholder Relations
Ensuring Compliance:
Guaranteeing adherence to all relevant industry regulations, laws, and internal safety policies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Liaising and coordinating with other department heads (e.g., Finance, IT, Sales, HR) to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to operations.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and suppliers, and acting as a primary point of escalation for issues.
