The role will be based in Seremban, Malaysia, however this role is remote-first, with only occasional travel/office base required. All applicants will need to be based in Malaysia, hold a Malaysian citizenship and have a good working knowledge of English. Our 6 group-owned sister companies and our global team are spread across 5 continents and supply over 50 countries. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Packaging Designer. The Senior Packaging Designer will be part of our New Brand Design team based in Seremban. Reporting to the Group Head of Brand Design (based in the UK) you will be responsible for the management and development of product design and packaging projects across our product ranges and for the delivery of a range of print and digital based projects. As a Senior Packaging Designer at Unigloves, you will be executing and overseeing digital and print creative solutions to address our product and packaging needs, from ideation to print development, for both our UK business and the Group. Working to a monthly orders plan, we are looking for someone highly organised, highly motivated, and hands-on with the ability to see a brief through from initial concept to final print-ready artwork and who is able to work well under pressure. You\'ll be managing multiple packaging projects at once and deliver outstanding results, to deadlines set out in critical path. You should have an in-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles and layout techniques. You should also have experience in proofing artwork files. You should be a proactive individual who is able to think critically and solve problems in a timely manner. Skills & Experience Full capability operating on an Apple Mac platform. A high level of competency and working knowledge in the latest Adobe Creative Suite is essential, must be fully conversant in using Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Experience in the design of structural packaging for consumer products and creating effective cutter guides for cardboard packaging. A degree in Graphic Design or similar creative discipline. A high level of competence in Microsoft Office software - PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc. Exceptional conceptual and executional abilities coupled with excellent communication skills. Highly creative with the ability to demonstrate excellent layout, typography and art direction skills. Highly proficient in spoken and written English. High attention to (design) detail and accuracy skills. Experience in proofing print artwork and print proofs. Ability to stick and follow style guides/brand guidelines. Flexible working hours due to time difference with UK. Desirable Extras Experience working with Far East factories and suppliers. Experience working with multilingual projects would be an advantage. Experience in 3D drawing/rendering software would be an advantage.
