JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• To design and develop Printed Circuit Boards (2-layer / 4-layer board) based on customer or engineer requirements
• To prepare engineering documents for PCB assembly, schematics and fabrication using PCB Software Tools (KiCad, Altium, etc.) that allows PCB manufacturing to manufacture the PCB
• Responsible in electronic component selection and Bill of Material (BOM) documents
• Design PCB layouts to develop high-speed circuits, power line circuits and reliable circuits
• To analyze and resolve any design-related issue based on customer or engineer specification
• Collaborate with local PCB Assembly makers to ensure the PCB board are manufactured correctly
• To review and recommend improvements (if needed) to existing PCB board designs
• Keep up to date on latest PCB material, layer construction, manufacturing guidelines and implementing into design
• To work / co-development with parent company and other subsidaries on digital or analog designs.
• Assist AE teams in preparing test procedures to verify PCB functions

• Master or degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering
• Experience working with CAD software such as Altium, KiCad, PADS, etc.
• Strong knowledge of PCBs such as PCB layer stack up, common PCB design rules, maintain and create libraries
• Knowledge in RF, analog layout, digital or analog designs are extra advantage
• Good understanding of electronic components and proficient in BOM
• Good interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Willing to relocate or travel to other country for support purposes.
