Who will you be working for: Our client is a prominent German MNC located in the Bayan Lepas FIZ. They are rapidly expanding and are looking for great talent to join their organization. What will you be doing:
- Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions for improvement
- Prepare and analyze production data to support manufacturing in problem solving projects
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
- Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms for analytics use cases
- Coordinate different functional teams to implement models and monitor results
- Design and develop data analytics use cases in functional areas of the plant
- Second level plant data analysis support for cross functional departments in the plant
- Analysis at intermediate stages of the data pipeline
- Present changes, results of data analysis etc. regularly to the connected solution group, data organization group and Manufacturing Digitalization section
- Close coordination with Plant i4.0 coordinator, Plant Data Officer, Plant Data Scientists, Manufacturing Operation and Engineering, Technical Functions, Quality, Plant Product Engineering and related key persons or departments of the projects
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Science, Computer Science with extensive programming exposure or equivalent
- Preferably 3 to 5 years of experience in Big Data, Data Analytics Platform, Production Data Analytics
- Expertise in Programming experience with Python and SQL (R, Minitab and SPSS as added advantage)
- Experience in Tableau (Desktop, Server, Prep) and Power BI, able to create interactive and data adaptive dashboards
- Familiar with analysis toolset like (Anova, Chi Square, Pearson correlation) and has a good statistical knowledge as added advantage
- Knowledge in CRISP-DM methodology, database terminologies and working with large datasets on Hadoop as added advantage
- Strong dedication, interest, and motivation to proactively drive new and improvement topics
- Ability to prioritize, plan and organize work independently
- Good team player, cooperative, communicative with the ability to lead others
- Good English writing and oral communication skills
- Bayan Lepas: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
