1. PURPOSE

Received orders from Sales and prepare planning for the production based on customer requirements and raw materials availability. Control and manage inventory at PK plant.

2. DIMENSIONS OF POSITION

Sales revenue: MYR 192,908,026

Vendors: SEA Sales Team

Business Unit: Advanced Refractory and Flow Control

Geographical coverage: Malaysia

3. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

a. Planning and Procurement

• Responsible and committed to all orders received by PK plant.

• Ensure all orders are enter into system and acknowledge within 3 days.

• Responsible and take ownership until orders deliver to customer.

• Immediate respond to enquiries sends by Sales team.

• Follow up closely with forecast received and order raw material accordingly.

• Ensure all forecast and firm orders entered into system without error.

• Ensure have 3 months firm schedule for Monolithic, Precast and slide gate.

b. Raw Material / ancillary component/ packaging item planning

• Responsible to run MRP as needed to capture the material requirement.

• Raise PR to purchasing with correct raw code, quantity, description, and delivery date.

• Check Raw Material Qube report and communicate with sales immediately on the changes in the delivery schedules

• Follow up closely with purchasing on raw material incoming.

• Maintain the standard lead time during ordering the raw material.

c. Production scheduling and Raw material issuing.

• Responsible to provide production schedule to Monolithic, Precast and Slidegate.

• Monitor closely with production and ensure plan is followed.

• Communicate clearly on customer requirement such as special marking, packaging and delivery date.

• Communicate immediately on delay and changes in schedule to sales.

• Provide Material requisition to warehouse 3 days in advance.

• Ensure sufficient of raw material for production.

d. Inventory

• Monitor closely on inventory and take necessary action to control the inventory.

• Ensure review and communicate the inventory level to Operation Manager.

• Frequent review with purchasing and teams on inventory.

e. Raw Material Meeting and S&OP meeting

• Lead weekly Raw material meeting with purchasing.

• Communicate the issues and requirement with purchasing.

• Communicate and find solution to support customer.

• Lead weekly Sales and Operation Meeting with SEA region.

• Communicate issue and provide solution.

• Understand the changes in requirement and revised the planning accordingly.

• Review forecast with sales.

f. Safety

• Ensure team perform monthly safety Audit

• Participate in SSIP discussion and complete the action plan.

• Ensure compliances to group safety standards.

Requirements
a. Education background & knowledge

• Minimum bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in any field

b. Experience

• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in raw materials and production planning.

c. Skills & behaviours

• Good Computer knowledge.

• Good communication skill.

• Fast learner and able to work independently.
