Job Summary

• Custodian for RAN technology strategy, topology and architecture roadmap to support U Mobile network and enterprise business solution.

• Custodian of RAN architecture and topology roadmap - mid-to-long term.
• Project Lead for RAN related RFP / RFQ / RFI to support business requirement.
• Develop RAN strategy and capacity projection for AOP exercise.
• Work closely with High Level Design team to develop and maintain RAN architecture design principles.
• Work with respective engineering teams within Network for technology PoC / trial, e.g. 5G.
• Organize periodic RAN technology road map update with key equipment vendor.
• Technical PIC for MCMC related strategic initiatives - spectrum, new technology.
• Technology strategy - to study, track new and emerging technology, prioritizing and putting them into business perspective / importance. Work with business / enterprise innovation team to capitalized business opportunities in-line with overall corporate vision.
• Conduct selective product trial / tests for new solutions / technologies to verify solution suitable as option for market introduction.
• Represents U Mobile in industry forums (e.g. GSMA).

• Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical / Electronic /Telecommunications Engineering with minimum 12 years working experience, with at least 10 years in RAN / Transport network strategy, architecture, and topology..
• Strategize and lead RAN and transport technology RFP / RFQ, including vendor negotiation.
• Knowledge and experience in RAN / Transport standardizations, industry \xe2\x80\x9cbest-practices\xe2\x80\x9d, technology trending, including 3GPP specifications development.
• Develop network and cost modelling for scenario analysis and simulation.
• Experience in leading new solution and product evaluation, trials, and testing.
