SUMMARY OF ROLE:

A skilled AOI engineer to implement quality-check procedures for PERC Process steps.

Works closely with Process Engineers, and Quality Team to define/update inspection criteria.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and maintain AOI recipes for PERC Process steps
• Deploy artificial-intelligence machine learning models on AOI tools to reduce over/under-rejection.
• Characterize new failure modes and optimize recipes to ensure good detection.
• Proliferate existing AOI recipes and perform tool-to-tool matching.
• Analyze data to identify drift in machine performance leading to over/under-rejection and work on root-cause to prevent reoccurrence.
• Optimize inspection flow to improve on machine throughput.
• Able to work in a demanding set of functions and turn challenges into opportunities by applying problem-solving tools and knowledge methodology.
• Work closely with process engineers to improve product yield and troubleshoot process flow from root causes to equipment tuning.
• To provide first-level engineering analysis for defects support in engineering projects such as cost reduction, yield & reliability improvement, and new line/equipment start-up.
• To review equipment data log, errors, and SPC to ensure equipment are always running

smoothly and develop necessary OCAPs and etc. * To drive improvement projects to reduce repair and maintenance costs.

• To perform root cause analysis on yield and address issues using problem-solving

methodologies such as the 8D approach and 7QC Tools. * To prepare for and attend required meetings.

• To comply with the standards, norms, and regulations regarding the quality of the environment,

health and safety and manufacturing. * Performs other duties that may be assigned.

RELATED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Master\'s Degree in the field of Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 1-year experience in wafer cell manufacturing, wafer fabrication, or PV Cells
• Experienced in AOI, and Printing preferred
• Analytical, able to perform risk analysis and mitigation with strong problem-solving skills
• Good command of computer knowledge including MS Windows applications.
• Good team player with good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to speak, write and read in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
