Department Overview North America-Latin America (NALA) Repair within the Motorola Supply Chain organization supports existing sales processes, operations, and customer service contracts on a daily basis. This process starts from forecasting repair materials through order scheduling, management, and ends with securing repair material for shipment to Motorola and outsourced vendor repair facilities that service US Federal, State, Local Customers; as well as, International customers.

  • Responsible for the business systems within the repair process and work with the IT team on resolving any related issues.
  • Repair system item attributes maintenance/assignment for Repair Service Centers.
  • Support End-of-Service request in terms of the business systems maintenance.
  • Responsible for the repair and return of damaged or defective Company products. Creates logistical processes for accepting damaged product, repair procedures and distribution back to service.
  • Define the repair strategy and repair readiness for Repair Service Centers for the new product including repair cost and investment cost
  • Communicates trends of defective products to engineering to reduce the need for service or identify potential product issues.
  • Generate and run repair related reports for the senior leadership team.
  • Develop insights to assist in decisions regarding repair strategy as needed.
  • Attend and/or facilitate global meetings if needed.

Basic Requirements
  • Candidate must have at least a Bachelor\'s Degree preferably in engineering, supply chain or comparable. Master\'s Degree will be an added advantage.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in business system, engineering, and product.
  • Good knowledge of common ERP (Oracle) and Google tools (Sheets, Docs etc.).
  • Good written and spoken English knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a team, self-motivation and capable of working pro-active and independently.
  • Experience in working within a multinational/global environment would be beneficial.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally via verbal and written communication.
