Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

To perform system Planning & Process Design work of water and wastewater treatment system which include:-

To study and review client's inquiry, specifications, and drawings from general industry, semi-conductor/electronic manufacturing industry or heavy industry and prepare the required technical clarification.

To response to inquiries pertaining to new or existing tender and other relevant requirement within the designated time, estimated budget and delegated authority.

To prepare the process design and develop process description/process flow diagram (PFD)/piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID).

To perform detailed calculations related to plant process design and prepare system operation & control philosophy.

To participate in design specification, Bill of Quantity (BQ) and Request For Quotation (RFQ) preparation, and assists in technical evaluation of vendor/maker's quotation/offer against bid specification to ensure compliance with requirements.

To determine the specification of items and its material selection for costing calculation.

To perform cost estimation and quotation issuance for tender whenever needed.

To work closely with multiple disciplines to ensure the quality and competitive proposals are developed and delivered timely.

To assist in project implementation which includes process related document preparation and technical clarification with client.

To assist in site erection, testing and commissioning work.

To review the related project document prepared by other engineering sections.

To perform tender/project progress monitoring which inclusive of project work quality control & assurance and report to superior/Management at agreed interval.

To provide guidance and training to engineers from other sections.

To liaise with relevant parties such as authorities, client, sub-contractors, vendors etc. and ensure works conform to specifications.

To provide consultancy services to client whenever required.

To lead the proposal team to ensure quality proposals are delivered within the designated time.

To control, monitor and review the work done by other engineers with proper guidance and training.

To support other engineering sections whenever is deemed required.

To assist, monitor, implement and maintain company ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements in the department.

To perform other related duties as may be required by the Management.

Job Requirement:

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Engineering IN Chemical, Environmental or equivalent.

Above 5 years of related working experience in industrial water/wastewater treatment project (for Senior Position).

Candidate with projects handling/system process design experience is preferred.

Required skill(s): AutoCAD is compulsory and other Microsoft Office application

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Chinese, Japanese (is an added advantage).

Pleasant, outgoing personality, self-initiated & able to work under challenging environment.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and delegate tasks to other engineers as required.

Ability to speak effectively with vendors, customers, and within the organization.

Moderate travelling to site and meeting with the client is required.

Possess with own transport & valid driving license.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
