Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, source, and negotiate with suppliers for best price, quality, and lead time.

Coordinate closely with Warehouse and Production to ensure sufficient stock and uninterrupted operations.

Maintain and update the Approved Vendor List in line with ISO 22000 / Halal / MESTI standards.

Conduct supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, and compliance checks.

Manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation.

Monitor market trends and support cost-saving initiatives.

Collaborate with QA/QC, Production, and Finance on material quality, cost, and payment matters.

Verify the processing flow for goods receiving items at the warehouse to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation.

Identify, develop, improve and control procurement policies, system and practice

Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Singapore plant to avoid shortages or overstocking

Perform other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior

Job Requirements:

Minimum Diploma or equivalent in Logistics or Supply Chain Management with at least 5 years of related working experience.

Proficient in using Autocount,QuickBooks and Microsoft Office

Experience with Microsoft 365 is an added advantage.

Experience in Food Manufacturing is an added advantage.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Possesses strong interpersonal skills. Able to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage

Willing to take on responsibilities and challenges.

Willing to work in Gelang Patah area, Johor Bahru.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
