This role is to review and ensure compliance to the Company\xe2\x80\x99s procurement policies in procurement governance and vendor management.
Duties and responsibilities include:
-Policies compliance
-Contribute to develop & refine departmental policies, processes, and ensure good governance is in place.
-Improve departmental procedures and provide input for process/system improvement
-Highlight any issue found to Assistant Manager/Manager.
-Information management & data analysis
-Identify opportunities & risk by analysis of available information or data.
-Information / data collection, interpretation, and then provide recommendations to superior.
-Perform data analytics & reporting for management review, studies on spend analysis, as well as ad-hoc request from any stakeholders.
-Custodian of material, service & vendor master data, and process on data creation.
-Vendor management
-In charge of vendor on-boarding processes, including profile creation & registration.
-Validation & due diligence on registered vendor\xe2\x80\x99s profile submission.
-Provide support on Vendor\xe2\x80\x99s inquiry.
-Procurement system specialisation
-Enhance & streamline procurement processes through the use of IT tools and systems.
-Conduct briefing & training to stakeholders on procurement related processes and tools.
-Coordinate with internal IT team to work out & conduct system testing
-Improvement & innovation
-Seek continuous improvement & identify opportunity for automation.
-Identify bottleneck, and able to propose on improvement initiative.
-Contribute & take part in any cross-functional Special Project assignment.
Requirements:
-Education
-Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Supply Chain/Procurement, Statistics, Economics, Business, Management, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
-Work experience
-Minimum two (2) years of working experience in Procurement function or in similar Analytical Role.
-Knowledge of Procurement application and system
-Experience in using SAP / SAP Ariba system would be an added advantage.
-Skills / knowledge specialisation
-Good writing skill
-Experience in ISO documentation and requirements
-Ability to analyse, interpret data, make observations and recommendations and related certification in this area would be an added advantage.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
