Rapidly expanding telecommunications infrastructure services provider seeking Senior Procurement Managers Your new company Our client is a fast-growing equipment and services provider with a strong network within East Malaysia. Having a slew of projects in the pipeline, they are now seeking strong Procurement experts to strengthen the strategic aspects of Sourcing, Negotiation, Tender management, contracting and any other responsibilities under the purview of Procurement. Your new role You will be responsible for the strategic direction, establishment of strong SOPs and improvement of Procurement operations, ensuring seamless execution of sourcing activities and service delivery via the various channels of customer engagement. You will also be accountable for the efficiency of process, governance, systems and tools. Leading the efforts to manage supplier relationships and contract negotiations, you will guide your team to performance excellence through consistent and transparent communication. What you\'ll need to succeed Able and willing to work in Sarawak Bachelor\'s degree with experience in Procurement or Supply Chain, ideally with exposure to the Telco industry Minimum 8 years\' experience working in a similar leadership role, and a strong network of suppliers Working knowledge in SAP, ARIBA, Power BI and other e-procurement tools Proven skills in people, project, contract and strategic sourcing management Strong change management and communication skills Excellent English, both written and spoken, is a must.
