Job Description

Salary: MYR 8,000 - MYR 12,000 Per Month

Location: KL City, WP Kuala Lumpur

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of product design experience in digital products, with at least 2 years in senior-level positions.

Deep expertise in user experience design, interaction design, and visual design.

Experience working in agile/lean environments with rapid iteration cycles.

History of working effectively in team settings (not solely individual contributor roles).

Ability to see the big picture while managing detailed execution.

Build consensus and drive decisions across teams.

Thrive in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.

Technical Requirements:

Good proficiency in Figma and modern design tools.

Strong understanding of design systems and component-based design.

Familiarity with front-end technologies and technical constraints.

Experience with analytics tools and data-driven design.

Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.

Portfolio Requirement:

Must demonstrate 2-3 comprehensive case studies showing problem identification, strategic thinking, user research insights, and a complete design process from discovery to implementation.

Clear metrics showing impact on user behavior and business KPIs.

Design iteration based on user testing and data.

Real implementation in deployed products.

Responsibilities:

Define and drive design strategy for complex product initiatives from conception to launch.

Partner with product management and engineering to shape product roadmaps and prioritize features.

Present design strategies to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.

Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to uncover insights and validate assumptions.

Frame complex problems through journey mapping, service blueprinting, and systems thinking.

Facilitate design sprints and workshops to generate innovative solutions.

Create prototypes and conduct usability testing to validate designs.

Collaborate with engineering throughout development to ensure design integrity.

Analyze user behavior data to identify optimization opportunities.

Continuously iterate on designs based on performance data and user feedback.

Share knowledge through documentation, presentations, and mentorship.
