PURPOSE OF JOB

• Provide manufacturing support to CM on all aspect
• Responsible to setup and qualify NPI for all new IDS Instruments
• Provide Technical/Product Engineering support, to both internal and external parties, on all post IDS Devices
• Providing Product Engineering support to IDS Instrument Team on FA of both production failures and field returns
• Responsible in maintaining and modification on the production test software code

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Function as manufacturing support
  • Responsible to make sure operation at CM running smoothly
  • Work closely with CM to support and resolve all issue raised by CM, for example material supply issue, test issue, process issue, assembly issue and etc.
  • Seek opportunity to reduce CM cost. To provide cost down reduction project
  • Support the CM demand and production build plan
  • Simplifying CM processes to achieve efficiency, reliability, and continuous process improvement
• Participate in NPI Team, lead CM\xe2\x80\x99s Test Team:
  • To support validation Run
  • To develop all backend test processes and documentations including setup of printers for various labels.
  • To setup and qualify all testers, including the crucial Test Target Cartridges, for new product before release to production
  • Work closely with R&D team in both Penang and US for new product transfer
• Function as sustaining engineering on all Test related issues relating to all Post PR Products
  • Drive continuous improvement activities for productivity, quality and yield improvement
  • Provide technical and documentation support for all product related
  • Function as Technical lead for all engineering change (ECN) that associating with Test & Process
  • Responsible for maintaining, modification (if required) and V&V (prior to implementation) of production test software code, for all post PR Product
  • Responsible for new line setup and qualification of all Test Process related equipment\xe2\x80\x99s
• Provide technical support by performing failure analysis for all field failures and production line failures
  • Supporting IDS Instrument Team for CAPA closure by providing root cause failure analysis on instrument that failed
  • Provide feedback and feedforward information for R&D to improve on next generation products
