Job Description

The Senior Product Manager will oversee product lifecycle management, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure the successful delivery of innovative solutions within the industrial and manufacturing sector. This role requires a strong background in product management to align product strategies with business goals of the company.

• Oversee the planning, installation, and integration of new machinery into production lines, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum operational readiness.
• Lead the resolution of engineering challenges during new product testing phases and early-stage production runs, ensuring timely and effective problem-solving.
• Manage and approve product testing and validation protocols, ensuring compliance with performance and quality standards.
• Oversee the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of Design for X (DFX) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) documentation.
• Ensure all test tools and equipment are identified, acquired, and validated for mass production readiness, including the maintenance of comprehensive test tool inventories.
• Govern the Engineering Change (EC) management process, including the validation of firmware versions, engineering documentation, and change control systems.
• Maintain oversight of firmware master files and version control, ensuring all programming and release activities adhere to established protocols.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective action plans for engineering and product quality issues arising during mass production.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on optimizing production flow, enhancing test coverage, improving product yield, and boosting operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Field Application Engineers (FAEs) to analyze field issues, reduce Work-In-Progress (WIP) levels, and enhance overall product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze user feedback and field data to implement engineering-driven quality improvements, aligning outcomes with customer expectations.

A successful Senior Product Manager should have:

• A strong background in product management within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• 14-16 years of working experience in a related engineering role with experience in PCBA/SMT manufacturing or server-related products.
• Proven expertise in electronic functional testing within the PCBA industry, including test strategy development, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to liaise with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis techniques.
• A degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
