Description

The Senior Product Specialist is responsible to drive product management initiatives to maintain product plan and ensuring the overall achievement of product objectives. A Senior Product Specialist collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to identify new opportunities, areas of services improvements, and cost reductions. Functions as a key resource for the Product Management team to define product enhancements and strategies in tight collaboration with line of business designates to ensure added value in the product vision, positioning, and direction.

Essential Functions

• Ensure the definition of the product vision, feature prioritization, product requirements, and ongoing product roadmap are maintained by the Product Owner.
• Research and communicate the needs of the end-users to the product manager.
• Define product enhancements and strategies.
• Contribute to the determination of profitability of the products.
• Ensure product assets are accurate and relevant.
• Manage customer onboarding/offboarding and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure proper communication strategy and training for external stakeholders.
• Assist the development team in concept, design, user testing, forecasting, support, and life-cycle of the product.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Systems, Education or equivalent experience in a related relevant field.
• 5 years of SAP solution experience, including success in product lifecycle management.

• Experience developing products throughout the full implementation lifecycle.
• Experience implementing or utilizing SAP systems.

• Experience with the SAP project lifecycles, methodologies, architecture, and support model.

• Expert knowledge of SAP HCM solution, SAP SuccessFactors, EAM, Retail solution, SAP Cloud Platform, and custom development.
• Expert understanding of SAP Solution Architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of Project Management methodology, to include planning, schedule development, scope management, and cost management.

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Ability to effectively lead teams of professionals, including conflict and change management within complex projects, performance evaluation, feedback, coaching, and career development.
• Ability to effectively communicate through informative presentations and responses to inquiries.

• Ability to build relationships with a variety of groups including Executives, Managers, Consultants, Clients, and Partners.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, with the ability to implement resolutions.
• Ability to budget, forecast, and measure results.

Work Environment and Special Consideration

• Works in a professional office and/or remote office environment.
• Routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, monitors, phones, and headsets.
