The Senior Product Specialist will have the opportunity to sell and promote company products within a defined territory, under the general supervision of the Manager. This will be accomplished by developing new accounts and expanding usage of company products within current accounts to meet Company objectives and sales goals.
Responsibilities
-Develop further as a professional sales rep by acquiring working knowledge and selling techniques. Able to tackle a variety of issues, and general knowledge in the medical device industry (BSC and competitors).
-Visit customers and/or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager.
-Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory under the general supervision of the Manager.
-With limited instructions from Manager, plan and develop the market for our existing and new products according to divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimizing available tools (consignment, etc).
-Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly
-Cultivate a wide range of business relationships with hospital management, the purchasing department, and hospital staff.
-Attend meetings, conferences, and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
-Analyze and report to the Manager and/or others (monthly & yearly basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools.
-To represent Boston Scientific\'s values and integrity.
Key Skills & Experiences
-BS/BA degree in business/scientific specialization
-Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the healthcare field.
-Strong ability to engage and interact with customers in a variety of settings including tradeshows/conferences, market research, advisory boards, and field interactions
-Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
-Be able to attend cases and provide support in the operating room
