Oversee the construction process including earthworks, buildings, major infrastructure.
Check all drawings and specifications to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans for discrepancies and report to the Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person immediately.
Ensure the site activity follow up to approved method statement and construction sequence.
Liaising with construction safety management to remove any hazards associated with work activities. Ensure everyone is safe and offer advice on day-to-day activities at the site.
Coordinate with contractors and consultants, meet up with statutory bodies as required and representing the company in all relevant meetings.
Check the quality of materials and equipment used during construction is approved / certified / validated that meet specifications and established quality standards.
Keep the detailed record on site and report to the Project Manager on the progress report on a weekly basis.
Assist Project Manager in verifying the design of temporary works by the contractor against actual conditions on site and recommend modification to suit if necessary.

Job Requirements

Possess Bachelor\'s Degree / Professional Degree / Master\'s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Registered as Engineer / Inspector of Works under Board of Engineers Malaysia.
Minimum 5 years of Civil, Structural & Geotechnical Engineering experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in supervision of projects similar to hill land development, rock blasting, deep excavation with retaining structure, slope strengthening, and major infrastructure works involving of bridge construction, elevated reservoir and sewerage treatment plant.
Enthusiastic and highly motivated with clear understanding of role and responsibilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
