Lead the engineering team, supported by the Discipline Lead Engineers.
Work together with the Project Teams and Department Heads to achieve Project objectives.
Work in coordination with HSE, procurement, subcontracting & project control,
Manage the day-to-day interfacing between the Projects and the disciplines of Process, Piping, Mechanical, Structural, and E&I and specialist disciplines
To monitor and review engineering progress with Project Controls and Engineering disciplines.
Act as a focal point for discipline leads for multi-discipline issues that require expediting or resolution
Be competent in Design Verification; highlight areas of concern and be able to affect corrective actions
Organize, attend, chair, contribute, and prepare reports for safety reviews and other multidiscipline meetings such as Plot Plan, 3D Model and Constructability reviews.
Participate in key customer reviews and meetings as required
Expedite Engineers to deliver to schedule, fully understand reasons for delay and drive development of recovery plans.
Resolves most delays or changes and escalates only most serious issues.
Coordinates, guides and mentors other Project Engineers in the management of work scope
Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned projects.
Involve in project meeting, project planning and scheduling with internal and external team members
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to engineering team and management.
To prepare and update periodically on the project progress, reports, and presentations.
Tracking project progress and making adjustment as necessary.
Helping to identify and manage projects risk and issues.
Determines project schedule by analyse the project plan and customer specifications, calculating timeline requirements and sequencing project tasks.
Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems
Hold engineering team members accountable for assigned tasks and track their progress. Provide status updates to management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related field). Advanced degree (e.g., Master's) is a plus.
7+ Years Experience relevant industry project execution experience, preferably with multi- discipline projects
Technical knowledge of all phases of engineering relating to multi- discipline engineering
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Work experience within significant project delivery environments
Proven track record of driving deliverables to completion
Good knowledge of MS Project or Primevara
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other applicable software programs.
