The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for communication, project management, project engineering, project planning, and electrical engineering. They will manage and oversee projects, create project plans, and ensure successful implementation. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals and deliverables. As an ELV and AV Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, maintenance, and operation of all ELV and AV systems within our organisation. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership capabilities to ensure the seamless integration and functionality of various electronic systems. Key Responsibilities : System Design and Implementation: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders such as the facilities manager and innovation department to design and maintain ELV and AV systems that meet the organisation\'s requirements. Evaluate and select appropriate equipment, technologies, and vendors for system deployment. Oversee the installation and commissioning of ELV and AV systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. 2.Project Management: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for ELV and AV projects. Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers to execute projects efficiently and within scope. Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders. 3.Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and guidance to staff members and end-users on the operation and maintenance of ELV and AV systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, connectivity, and performance. Work closely with the facilities manager to implement preventive maintenance procedures to minimise downtime and ensure system reliability 4.Documentation and Training: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, schematics, and user manuals. Work closely with the training department to conduct training sessions and workshops to educate staff members on the proper use and maintenance of ELV and AV equipment. Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system operation and maintenance. 5.Quality Assurance and Compliance: Perform regular audits and inspections to assess the performance and compliance of ELV and AV systems. Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability, security, and safety of electronic systems. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to ELV and AV technologies. 6.Hands-on Assistance with Implementation and Installation: Provide hands-on support and technical expertise during the implementation and installation of ELV and AV equipment. Work closely with vendors and contractors to ensure the proper setup, configuration, and integration of electronic systems. Assist in troubleshooting complex technical issues and overcoming installation challenges as they arise. 7. Building and Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of technicians and specialists to support the ELV and AV Manager in carrying out departmental responsibilities. Foster a collaborative and cohesive team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional development. Delegate tasks effectively, set clear expectations, and provide constructive feedback to team members to optimise performance and productivity. Qualifications : Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing ELV and AV systems. Proficiency in audio-visual technologies, including video conferencing, digital signage, sound reinforcement, and multimedia presentation. Strong knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and security practices. Experience with project management methodologies and tools. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., CTS, CCNA, Crestron, Extron) is a plus.
