A Minimum Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or other related discipline required
At least 5 years of working experience in construction industry, site supervision, sub-contractor management, project cost management
Strong knowledge in HVAC design, thermodynamics, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing, Firefighting, Process Utility Systems and civil work
Strong knowledge in Safety and Environmental regulations
Ability to utilize 3D BIM drawing system is an advantage
Proficient in ACAD, Excel, Word, Power Point and Microsoft Project
Accountabilities:
Prepare and manage engineering projects to include: specification, design, life cycle, cost, equipment selection, planned maintenance programmes, dilapidations, acquisitions and the preparation of and review of tender documentation.
Interpret client's requirements, respond promptly and keep superiors informed with the latest expectation or request.
Actively participates to the design verification process within the team.
Maintain project schedule by executing assigned tasks timely. Monitor and report project progress to superior regularly.
Coordinate day-to-day work activities, procurement, material flow and operations with all project related personnel to ensure successful project execution. The activities of all personnel involved in the project are coordinated so as to ensure the efficient implementation of the project.
Attention to details such as plans, drawings, quantity and work quality to ensure projects meet agreed specifications and budget. Highlight discrepancies to superior whenever necessary.
Ensure the compliance of all site works with contract specifications, ISO 9001 Quality Management System, company internal quality standards and local construction regulations.
Liaise with clients' project personnel to prepare, execute and fulfil project deliverables and schedules.
Provide appropriate technical advice to clients' project personnel, subcontractors and project coordinator.
Update clients and their representatives (e.g., architects, engineers and surveyors) the project progress. Attend meetings when necessary.
