Prepare and maintain daily site progress reports.
Coordinate with the Machinery Department for the mobilization, servicing, and repair of machinery, equipment, and plants at the job site, including other related facilities and utilities.
Liaise with the Safety Department to implement and uphold safety standards on-site.
Supervise and monitor sub-contractors' work progress at the site.
Identify and highlight discrepancies between structural, architectural, and M&E drawings to consultants.
Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager for the procurement of construction materials for the site.
Organize and lead sub-contractor meetings and participate in technical coordination meetings with clients and consultants.
Review structural drawings and prepare/submit Requests for Information (RFI) to consultants for inspections.
Review and verify approved method statements and work instructions.
Ensure timely submission of shop drawings, material samples, and follow up on the preparation of As-Built drawings.
Conduct quality inspections on subcontractor works and maintain proper documentation.
Implement corrective actions in response to customer complaints and non-conformances within the required timeline.
Perform other duties as assigned by immediate superiors.
Recommend corrective measures for project progress and verify contractor claims.
Issue site memos and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to sub-contractors when necessary.
Ensure all customer complaints, and internal or external NCRs issued by clients or consultants are properly addressed and closed.
Reject any materials delivered to the site that do not meet specifications or are of poor quality.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a
Bachelor's Degree

Postgraduate Diploma
, or
Professional Qualification in Civil Engineering
or a related field.
Minimum
2 years of relevant experience
in the construction industry.
Prior experience in managing or working on
high-rise residential projects
is highly advantageous
Proficient in
Microsoft Office
,
AutoCAD
, and
Primavera
.
Proficiency in
Bahasa Malaysia
and
English
is required;
Mandarin
is an added advantage.
Willing to
relocate to or be based in Johor Bahru
.
